Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with data modeling, data modeling languages, and network operations.
  • Experience with Go and Python.

Our team of Network and Software Engineers conceptualize, prototype, test, integrate, maintain, and decommission the network architectures and software systems relating to the internet edge of Google’s global network.

Responsibilities

  • Design, publish, and present network architectures and briefings.
  • Develop software integrations for new architectures in Golang by provisioning workflows, repairing workflows, and generating device configuration.
  • Develop automated pairwise integration and large-scale solutions tests, and perform feature scale tests.
  • Produce statements of work, publish feature/scale requirements, and contribute to lifecycle plans of record.
  • Contribute to our team's roadmap, perform network-wide rollouts, and manage escalations from our partner Site Reliability Engineering teams.
